Orienteering Competition Organized as Part of Down Syndrome Day

Within the scope of World Down Syndrome Day on March 21, an event titled “We Are All the Same Sports Games” 
was organized by theProvincial Directorate of Youth and Sports under the leadership of our faculty member 
Dr. Zeynep Yıldırım and with the participation of our faculty Vice Dean Dr. Cemal Özman.In the event held at 
Ömer Tepesi Sports Hall, our faculty students and individuals with Down syndrome came together and participated 
in an orienteering competition. The event aimed to increase social interaction betweenindividuals and emphasize 
the inclusive power of sports. We would like to thank all stakeholders who contributed to the organization.
