Green Crescent Awareness Training Organized at Bartın University

Bartın University hosted an important awareness event to contribute to the awareness of its students about healthy living. 
Under the coordination of Dr. Lecturer Çiğdem Gökduman, “Green Crescent Awareness Training” was held on May 2, 2025 in cooperation 
with Yeşilay.The training program provided students with comprehensive information about addiction types, the effects of addiction 
on individuals and society, protection methods and Yeşilay’s preventive studies in this field. The training, supported by interactive 
presentations and sample cases, aimed to increase students’ awareness and help them gain healthy living habits.Informative materials 
prepared by Yeşilay were distributed to the participants at the end of the training. Stating that they were pleased with the intense 
interest shown in the program, Dr. Lecturer Çiğdem Gökduman emphasized that raising young people’s awareness about addictions is of 
critical importance both for their individual development and for the protection of social health.
