First Aid Training for Students of the Faculty of Sports Sciences at Bartın University

Between May 3-4, 2025, “First Aid Training” was organized for students at Bartın University under the coordination of Dr. Lecturer 
Çiğdem Gökduman and in cooperation with Bartın University First Aid Training and Educational Training Center. Theoretical information and practical training were provided to the participating students in the two-day training program on vital issues such as basic life support, intervention in respiratory tract obstructions, first aid in bleeding and injuries, and what to do in fractures-dislocations-sprains. At the end of the training, the participants were also given official certificates to document the first aid training they received. The program aimed to develop the students' skills in making correct and effective interventions in emergency situations. Dr. Lecturer Çiğdem Gökduman stated that such trainings provide students with not only academic but also social responsibility awareness, and thanked all participating students and the experts who conducted the training. As Bartın University, we will continue our training activities that support the personal development of our students and contribute to society in the coming periods.
